Being the daughter of an Air Force Officer got an opportunity to study in Kendriya Vidyalayas in different parts of India which helped to develop her understanding and outlook to the world. It was her ambition to be useful to the society. People who are less privileged than her attracted her attention at all times.

To do something for the nation, is always a passion for her. As she grew up she thought the profession of teaching and academic leadership are the best means for the same. In the beginning, she felt disappointed before negative criticism, inspite of her good intentions she hesitated to move forward. But experience, time and guidance from her ‘gurus’ and peers have seasoned her with good balance of mind. Whatever, she did she wanted that to be unique and different which gave her a lot of challenges.

She was confident that she can contribute much to mould the future citizens. She believes in human values and our heritage, hence she emphasize value-based education which made her take up her study topic “Effects of premature adolescence in school children”. From her school days itself, she was aspirited sports woman.she has represented her school in inter-school basket ball tournaments. She was courageous and was a self starter too. She has a good balance of mind to tackle any problem with a positive attitude even in stressful situations.

She was second rank in her school and she received best orator award from the Governor of Kerala in her school days She received Kerala University merit scholarship for her PG. she joined as a Teacher in Sabarigiri Residential School, Anchal in Nov 1993. She was adjudged as Best Teacher in the school in 1994. This motivated her to continue her career.

She was compelled to leave Anchal as she had to shift of her residence to Cochin and then to Trivandrum, to take care of her family. Without leaving her job, she continued working in other reputed schools like BharathiyaVidyaBhavan, Cochin and Trivandrum till 2000. Thereafter, she joined back Sabarigiri Residential School, Anchal as the Principal.

She successfully implemented the latest and new technologies in the teaching-learning process with the support of the staff and cooperation from the parents. In recognition of her commitment, hard work and capacity to handle difficult situations, she was given the additional charge of the Coordinator of all the Sabarigiri Educational Institutions which includes 5 schools and a B.Ed College affiliated to the University of Kerala. Being a resident Principal, she performed all her duties round the clock (24x7) with the children with utmost dedication and sincerity and her school secured 100% results in 10 and 12th class all the time.

A teacher affects eternity generally and the community. Being aware of this, she has never rested in the laurels gained in the fields of scholastics alone.she motivated the parents and students through organizing cultural programmes. She arranged collection of rice, cloths, one rupee coin etc. from the parents by inspiring the students and periodically donated the same to two orphanages .The school is the first Non- Governmental school in Kerala to get NCC Air Wing. We are the overall Champions in VenadSahodaya Inter School Cultural Festival, champions in the Inter-school Basket Ball and Cricket tournaments.

It was her sincere effort to see that our school offers International curriculum (CBSE-i) and by God’s grace it has come true from the academic year 2014-15. And the school was declared as the First Cloud Campus in the State of Kerala by Chess Grand Master and World Champion Viswanathan Anand in the school campus. Her vision is to see that her students become world leaders and her school to be a fine global platform for generations to come.

She is a Principal with good initiative. She love children. She want to transform them into fine human beings, useful to their family, to the community around, to our nation and to humanity at large with academic brilliance and universal brotherhood. She will always be an instrument in the hands of God almighty to achieve this mission which gives her great solace in her life.
