Overview

The school imparts modern child centered, activity oriented methodology of education and aims at high standards academics. The method of teaching is based on individual attention and group learning enabling the child to learn through personal experiences. The teaching - learning programmers are prepared to suit the individual needs of each child. Emphasis is given in developing character, leadership, social responsibility, life skills and emotional stability. Facilities are provided for physical education, health education, arts, crafts & computer training. Education through Audio - Visual aids is a part of the syllabus. NIIT e - guru interactive Smart Class Rooms assist the pupils in digital learning


Examination

The school holds four monthly test, two terminal and the Annual examination during the academic year. Besides this, class tests are conducted at regular intervals.

Attendance in all examinations and tests, including oral and practical, are all compulsory. Students absenting from Examination and Test will not be allowed to attend classes until parent meets the Principal with reasons for the same. No re-examination will be arranged on any account. Malpractices during examinations, if proved can result in expulsion from the school. Pupils with less than 75% attendance are not eligible to appear for the final examination. Shortage up to 15% only maybe condoned on medical grounds. Cases of shortage falling below 60% shall not be considered at all.

What is Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation ? (CCE)

  • It is a process to provide holistic profile of the learner through regular assessment of scholastic and co- scholastic domains of development.
  • This scheme aims at making evaluation an integral part of teaching learning process.
  • The scheme focuses on all round development of personality of the learners.
  • The scheme also envisages improving on-going teaching - learning process by diagnosing the learning gaps and offering corrective and enriched input.
  • The CCE scheme brings about a paradigm shift from examination to effective pedagogy.

What does the term 'Continuous' in CCE mean?

  • It focuses on regularity and continuity in assessment.
  • The term ' Continuous' means that the assessment is to be completely integrated with the processes of teaching and learning.

What does the term 'Comprehensive' in CCE mean?

  • It includes assessment of holistic development of the learner including cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains.
